WiFi, including unlimited uploads and downloads, is accessible in your room and throughout our residences at no extra charge.

Bay Campus

Bay Campus residents should connect to the Glide Wi-Fi network within your accommodation.

  1. Scan for available Wi-Fi networks and connect to the Glide_Signup network.
  2. Open your web browser and you will be re-directed to the Glide welcome screen.
  3. Under ‘Just moved in?’, press Register.
  4. Complete all fields and press Register.
  5. If registration has been successful, a confirmation screen with your unique network passkey, will be displayed.
  6. Press the copy icon and return to your device's Wi-Fi network settings.
  7. Forget the Glide_Signup Wi-Fi network and connect to the Glide—Resident Wi-Fi network instead.
  8. Paste your passkey in at the prompt and press Continue.
  • Once connected, you can get online.
  • You can use the same passkey to add further devices to your personal, private network.
  • Make sure you keep your passkey safe. This will also be sent to you via email and text message for your convenience.

Visitor access

  1. Scan for available Wi-Fi networks and connect to the Glide_Signup network.
  2. Open your web browser and you will be re-directed to the Glide welcome screen.
  3. Press Visitor access.
  4. Enter your name and email address and press Connect.
  5. This will provide you with access for 24 hours; after this time you'll need to re-register.
