Shwmae! We’re your Students’ Union, and as a student of Swansea University, you’re automatically a member – we are so excited to welcome you! At the Students’ Union, everything we do is driven by students, for students.
How to get involved?
You can join sports clubs, sign up to one of our societies (or start your own!), and even earn some cash working for the SU as a member of our hard-working and much-loved student staff.
Student Voice is at the heart of what we do, whether it’s through campaigns, student representation, or simply sharing your feedback, there are countless ways to get involved, make change, and co-create the community you want to be part of.
What do we offer?
We’re here to support you through your student journey. We have a dedicated Advice and Support Centre where students can meet with our specialist staff and discuss any issues related to housing, academic challenges, and wellbeing. For students with young children, our welcoming nursery is here to support your family as you pursue your goals.
We also have a selection of bars and shops, pop into Costcutter for a lunchtime meal deal, grab some Swansea Uni merch from Fulton Outfitters, head up to JCs for your morning coffee or a post-lecture drink, and swing by Y Stiwdio to customise your society merch!
So, what can you expect from us?
From vibrant, large-scale events right through to chilled art sessions and adorable animal therapy, we’re here to make sure your time at Swansea is as enjoyable and as memorable as possible.
