A Welcome Message from your Programme Director

"Welcome to the BSc Global Business Management (Top-Up Programme)!

We’re delighted to welcome you to Swansea and to this final-year top-up degree, designed to equip you with the analytical tools, global perspective, and financial insight required for today’s interconnected world of business and finance.

This programme brings together the core principles of international finance with practical applications. You’ll explore topics such as investment analysis, corporate finance, global financial markets, and contemporary issues that shape financial decision-making in a global context. Our aim is to develop your confidence in interpreting financial data, thinking critically, and making sound financial judgements.

Learning will be hands-on, engaging, and reflective of real-world challenges. Through case studies, group projects, and discussions, you’ll have opportunities to apply what you learn in meaningful ways. We encourage you to take an active role in your studies—ask questions, stay curious, and take initiative. Our team is here to support you throughout your journey, and we’re committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Swansea and Wales offer much more than academic experience. With a rich heritage, bilingual culture, and breathtaking landscapes, you’ll find inspiration both in and outside the classroom. We hope you take the time to enjoy everything this part of the UK has to offer.

We’re excited to see how you grow over the coming year—and where your future in international finance will take you.

Welcome aboard—your journey starts now.
