Enrolling On Your Course

For our new international students, there are a few important steps to complete once you arrive in Swansea in order to enrol on your course. We’ve provided clear, step-by-step guidance below to help you complete your enrolment and get ready for your classes. Please note that your teaching timetable will only become available after you have successfully enrolled on your course.

Step 1: Right to Study Check

Before you can enrol on your course, you are required to complete a Right To Study Check to confirm your student status.

To complete this check, you need to attend an in-person appointment with the University's Compliance team.

Appointments are available on Bay Campus & Singleton Campus, you can book your appointment here: Right to Study Registration

Step 2: Logging Into Your Account

Now that you have completed your Right To Study Check, it's time to login to your University Account for the first time.

You should have received an email from the IT Team with a temporary password to log into your account.

Your username will be: YourStudentNumber@swansea.ac.uk

(Your Student Number will always begin with 2)

Once you've successfully logged in, head to Step 3.

Step 3: Enrolling Online

Now that you've successfully logged into your Swansea University account, it's time to enrol on your course!

Click the 'Enrol Now' button on the intranet homepage to start the online enrolment process.

When you get to Module Selection step of enrolment, do not select anything on the page.

Instead, select the next step of enrolment at the top of the page (tuition fees):

After you have completed enrolment, you will be given the option to upload a picture, please do so to prevent any delays in receiving your Student Identification Card.

Step 4: Accessing Student Services

Congratulations on completing your enrolment! Now, you are ready to access all the student services you require for your course.

All the above services will require you to login using your University Account, as discussed in Step 2.

Step 5: Collecting Your Student Card

When you begin attending class, you will need to scan your student ID on the card readers at the start of every lecture to confirm your attendance.
