Welcome Week for September 2025 will take place from 22nd– 26th September 2025, with a range of events taking place each day. Effort should be made by you to attend all events listed within the below timetable.
Events are a chance to gain insight to your chosen degree programme, ask questions and get to know both staff and students in your department. We look forward to meeting you!

This timetable is relevant to those beginning Year 1 Sport and Exercise Science. If you are beginning Year 1 in Mathematics and Sport Science (joint honours programme), please refer to the Mathematics timetable.

12:00 - 13:00 - Year 1 Welcome Talk - Room 108, Y Twyni
Meet your student course mates for the first time along with Key Academic Staff from your Department who will introduce your programme of study, provide you with key academic information and direct you to useful course resources.
13:00 - 15:00 - Year 1 (combined with all Returning students & MSc students) Welcome Social - 108, Y Twyni
Join your peers for a social to welcome all Year 1, MSc students and returning Students. A great way to start your year by forming new friendships and networks.
