The transition from college/sixth form to university can be extremely daunting! This informative session will explain our expectations and provide an overview of how to manage your time, build resilience, obtain essential university information and communicate with others. The session will explain the teaching, learning and assessment process and include interactive activities to ensure understanding

A welcome and information session for all Law Welsh speaking students led by one of our Welsh-speaking academic staff. 

11:00am-12:00pm  Introduction to Personal Tutoring and The Student Experience (Faraday Lecture Theatre, First Floor, Faraday Building) **Compulsory**

In this session you will also be introduced to Personal Tutoring and you will also hear about some great opportunities to get involved with alongside your studies, from Law School staff. 

12:00-2:00pm  Personal Tutor Meetings **Compulsory**

During this 1-hour session, you will meet your Personal Tutor group for the first time! Your Personal Tutor will be in contact via email to let you know the specific time and details for your meeting. There are also meetings taking place on Thursday 25th, you will only have a tutor meeting on one of these days.

Your Personal Tutor will be in touch arrange regular meetings throughout the year, and will be able to support you with a range of queries including; signposting to pastoral support, academic guidance, employability and more. You can find out who your mentor is and their contact details by logging into your individual Intranet page, under Course Details > Course Contacts.
