Making Bay Campus Feel Like Home

The Residential Life team creates a welcoming and inclusive community where every student on Bay Campus feels supported, connected and empowered to thrive during their time in resident halls. We create and maintain positive relationships with students by being a constant and warm presence on campus.

Our job is to ensure students are welcomed to Swansea University and that they are supported. We are here to help you as an out of hours team, through providing a social space to allow students to build relationships and experience campus life.

We will plan bespoke activities, and advertise existing events happening on campus to encourage students to interact with the wider campus community. If you’re nervous about joining any activity on campus, a member of residential life team will happily accompany you to help you settle in.

University life is about more than just studying – it's also about building friendships, developing confidence, and creating memorable experiences.

The Residential Life team is dedicated to helping students make the most of their time in halls by providing opportunities to meet new people, get involved, make friends, and access support whenever it's needed. We're here to help you feel part of the Swansea University community from day one.
