Multifaith

Our fortnightly meditation sessions, led by our Hindu Faith Rep Mel, are great for carving out some ‘me time’ in a hectic schedule or starting a daily meditation practice. 

You can also join a Baha'i Dreams and Meditation session every Monday. Sessions are at 12pm or 5.15pm in the Lighthouse, Singleton Campus

You don't need any meditation experience to attend these sessions - we talk you through a theme each week to nourish your wellbeing.

This service is available for all students & staff. It offers a listening ear to whoever needs it and is completely confidential.

There doesn’t have to be any particular issue or problem, sometimes it is just good to talk.

These chats can happen via phone, video calling and in person, whichever you feel most comfortable using. If you would like to speak to a particular member of the team then please indicate who that is when you contact us.

This service is not counselling but complements the range of wellbeing services offered by the University.

Appointments are offered between 9.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday and can last up to 50 minutes, click HERE to book an appointment

This is a group that meets to support students who grieving the death of someone they were close to. It might be that you have lost a friend or family member, recently or even a while ago. Whatever the circumstance of your loss then this might be the group for you.

The group lasts an hour and gives an opportunity to share with others who might be going through similar feelings and experiences to yourself. We recognise that grief is different for everyone but that it is also good to know that you are not alone. Sign up HERE:

The group is facilitated by a member of the Multifaith Team and one of the Wellbeing counsellors.

Please do not feel that you have to manage your grief alone. There is help here for you.

The group runs on Wednesdays from 3pm to 4pm, and is hosted in person in The Lighthouse, Singleton Campus. Sessions will restart on the 16th of October. If you cannot make this time, or want more information, please email faith.campuslife@swansea.ac.uk
